The Beginning
I’m Gabrielle
AKA: Gabby, Goop, Goober…
But you may know me as
‘Gabs Raad World’ Artist 👩🎨
I am a lifelong artist bringing bold, meaningful, trippy, and colorful vibes to life through abstract art.
Art that’s made to include everyone. My work is all about good energy, vibrant expression, and turning everyday spaces into something wildly unique.
Since launching my art business in 2023, I’ve been pouring creativity into everything. from custom commissions to one of a kind pieces you’ll find here and at local art fairs.
But where did it all start???
My art story started early, Probably 2002.
like, Sharpie on new, expensive bedroom set early. I was the kid who turned walls, notebooks, and anything blank into a canvas. I call them “Art situations”. By high school, my bedroom walls were covered in murals & poetry. almost every gift I gave was something I’d made.
All of the time i had during the day, i filled with art. I just want to create. Lines & colors fill the world naturally. The idea of creating something brand new with those 2 natural occurrences made & still makes me want to fill the world with art.
I’ve always been drawn to color, movement, and the idea that lines can become anything.👩🏼🎨✍️
The creative process isn’t just about making pretty things. it’s about growing through all the chaos that comes with it.
There are the breaks, the setbacks, the endless learning, the people you meet, and the moments you step out of your comfort zone just to see what happens.
I’ve learned to appreciate every version of myself along the way & to celebrate the uniqueness that art brings out in all of us.
Those “art situations” from my childhood home? Still on the walls. They’re a reminder that creativity is messy, evolving, and worth every bit of it. The world’s full of millions of perspectives, and if your art carries passion, someone will connect with it.
Life’s one big trip🙃so why not fill it with beautiful, meaningful art you love?🎨
The Mission
@ gabs raad world
My mission is simple:
to spread joy, spark imagination, and remind people that everyone belongs here. Whether you’re an artist, collector, or someone just discovering your creative side & wants to fill their space with art, this space is for you.
If you’ve ever felt unseen or left out, I invite you to reach out. We can make art that reflects you. Because Our Raad World isn’t just my art.
it’s our shared space to celebrate creativity in every form!
I believe art should be accessible, inclusive, and sustainable. inspired by nature and mindful of the world around us.
Every piece I create carries that spirit. a mix of play, purpose, and compassion for both our planet and our minds.
The Vision
Our Raad World is just getting started, but my vision is big & personal. I want my art to fill the walls, shelves, tables, keychains, and clothes of people who see life the way I do: colorful, rebellious, curious, and kind. My art is for the people who love standing out, but still radiate good energy everywhere they go.
I hope to grow this into a creative space where art and sustainability coexist. I’m already reusing bubble wrap, boxes, and mailers that would have been thrown away. one day, I want every shipping product and material I use to be fully sustainable.
Right now, everything you see, from the paintings and prints, to the website design, packaging, emails, and photos, is 100% me & my beloved boyfriend as the muscle & art support.
no mass production, just genuine art and intentions.
My motto since high school has always been: “Life is one big trip, so let’s make art.”
It’s painted on my graduation cap and painted into everything I do. Because life deserves color, weirdness, and joy. I want everyone who finds my work to feel like they’re part of that.
Then, Now, & Future
The Then
Like I said before, ive been an artist since about 2 years old & at every chance i got i filled life with creativity & imagination.
I have a wide range of arts & craft interests.
Painting, drawing with different mediums, photography, beads with string & wire bracelets, collages, wood burning, & more.
Read more about this below.
fast forward after high school & college art classes, blah blah…
I started my business in June 2023 by attending art events (Famous Food Festival) & selling commissioned artwork. (logos, prints, custom notebooks, etc.)
then my website lunched January of 2024. Truly, all I was selling was 10 art prints and maybe 5 hand painted canvases.
The now
Right now, I sell my original artwork here through my shop, personal commissions via email & mainly in person at art fairs and creative events, where I get to actually meet you guys!
I love meeting likeminded people who connect with my work personally. I want Our Raad World to be all about community and creativity.
expanding into a real world space filled with color, conversation, and inspiration is what makes all of that possible.
Looking ahead, I dream of opening my own storefront! 👀 a cozy, creative space where art can live, breathe, and grow. That is the goal, but in the future.
first I want to start hosting art classes, paint nights & crafting parties where I can share my art style & knowledge with everyone.
i want to truly launch a youtube channel where I show you the real version. of being me as an artist. Im not traditional by any means. Very much type b or c person lol
The Future
Art History
Gabs Raad World ~ before & After 2023
Everyones starts with the classic art mediums. crayons, water based markers, maybe some color pencils, some dollar store paint sets that say acrylic but really means thick dry paint.
If you were an aspiring artist though, you had the basic 50+ page sketchbook, some drawing pencils, & the upgraded artists box that had all the basic art mediums i mentioned before, but add a couple other tools & it looked legit in a case you can “bring with you everywhere…😅
Yep, that was me. Many sketchbooks & I used that wooden box for many other art supplies after. I repuposed it because the box itself was cool.
oh how the times change. since then i’ve found my favorite & least favorite mediums & canvases to create on & with.
Ages 5 - 8, I loved crayola crayons. Red-orange, black, turquoise, & royal blue were my favorite to color with. My favorite colors were Black & turquoise.
Then I started to mess with colored pencils, acrylic paint & that art box I was telling you about LOL
From the ages 9 - 13, i started to really develop my drawing skills. Practicing drawing cartoons, grafitti & of basic still lifes’.
